I finally went out and bought my new phone, a PSP(!!!!), and some video games that I've been meaning to play for a while that are can't miss in the market. The biggest buy has to be the PSP, mostly because I think this is next generation hardware that can really change society. A PSP can be used to listen to music, watch movies, store and share files, surf the web, make a phone call or read books. Oh yeah, and it has tons of cool games that you can play. I this as above the iphone as a technology utility breakthrough, as now you have constant access to media and non-media tools digitalized. You can read a book or watch saved youtube videos on the train to work. You can learn chinese while waiting in line at the bank. You can check stock quotes and listen to music. You can watch a movie, all the while flipping back and forth to your email as you wait for that important business item. Social gaming has been taken to a new level: you can hook up to 12 of these bad boys together in some games, all without any chords. You can be on the top of a mountain with 3 of your friends playing streetfighter, or at lunch with 5 work mates seeing who is the best racer. You can link up with a random person on the subway and play a quick game of chess.
Imagine the possibilities. And it seems that everyone in China has one.
I can no longer even view my own blog, let alone see comments or post replies anymore, so I am considering moving my blog off of blogspot and over to myspace, which offers a little more in terms of profiling, but a lot less in terms of blogging, so I'll have to really think that over.
I've been really sick for the last couple days, so I've been slacking on my blog and other goals a little. Today I took care of a ton of errands, which really felt like it made up for it, but I have to get over this never-ending cold.
